Eligibility for MBBS-General category:
Indian Nationals, 17 years of age,
pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American
12th
Grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry,
Biology and English and 50% in PCB.
Admissions through merit in the entrance
test to be held on 23.04.06 at Ahmedabad,
Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh,
Chennai, Delhi, Ernakulam, Gangtok,
Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata,
Lucknow, Manipal, Mangalore, Mumbai.
Foreign/NRI category:
All Candidates must be at least 17
years of age. Physics, Chemistry, Biology
and
English is essential in the qualifying
examination eg. CBSE, ISC, HSC, A levels,
IB STPM, SAM, OSSD, High school for
those following the American system
or equivalent examination. For those
following the American High school system,
applications will be considered if Physics,
Chemistry and Biology have been taken
as ‘ AP ‘ (Advanced Placement) courses
or have one year of science in college.
The minimum requirment is an average
of 60% marks or ‘C’ grade in Physics,
Chemistry and Biology (PCB). Admissions
are based on merit in the qualifying
examination.

Option 1:
Apply online from 01.02.06, logon to
and follow theprocedure for submitting
application online. Candidates have
the option of paying the application
and entrance test fee through Credit
Card or Debit Card.
Option 2:
The application material can be purchased
from MAHE Admissions office by writing
to the following address by enclosing
a request along with a Demand Draft
for Rs. 350 drawn in the name of MAHE
made payable at Manipal or Udupi or
Bangalore. Clearly mention the course
and your complete postal address (including
PIN, Telephone Number and Email address)
in your application:
